Throughout my 40+ years as a professional photographer, filmmaker, and TV producer, my goal has always been to capture the spark, the dream, the spirit, - that which is unique in each person.
Currently, my focus is in my specialties of
:
-Workshops for youth, mostly girls and young women, in helping them to reject the unrealistic beauty standards they are bombarded with constantly. We have photography-based workshops that help enhance their self-esteem, confidence, and self-value. In these workshops they not only learn how to take better pictures, but also learn more about themselves and what is unique and special about them as individuals.
-Additionally, I have a training program for photographers who would like make an impact in the lives of the youth in their communities, using photography.
-I teach infrared photography workshops where I show other photographers how to create fine art using this medium.
