Aubrey Hord Photography
Aubrey began her career in photography managing a darkroom in the early 80's. Her love of international travel started 26 years ago at the age of 14 with a trip to England. Since then, she has explored, studied or worked in 14 countries on 5 continents. She is well-known for her vivid colors, patterns and designs found in nature. She combines her passion for design, creating a sense of place and a love of nature to each of her images. She has a special interest in tropical island ecosystems and the microclimates they create as well as the fragility of the environment. Her images have been featured in Global Traveler USA magazine, the Maui News and Maui No Ka Oi Magazine. Her work can be found at eleven boutiques and galleries on Maui. She and her husband live on the slopes of Haleakala volcano on Maui. In addition to her fine art photography, Aubrey is available for worldwide coverage of travel, portraits, weddings, sports, stock images, commercial and editorial work.
